Questions from shoppers

Using CenuFiltrs

How to search, browse the catalogue, use product pages, and discover relevant offers.

How does search work?

Search compares individual retailer offers. It matches your query against the words in each offer title and brand, then sorts matching results by lowest price by default. Suggestions can help you enter a query, but they do not guarantee a match. If nothing relevant is found, CenuFiltrs shows no results rather than filling the page with loosely related offers. If a search for a device also shows cheaper accessories, narrow the category or select the relevant device category.

Which filters and sorting options can I use?

You can narrow results by category, brand, price, availability, condition, retailer, and retailer rating, then choose a supported sorting option and either grid or list view. Your query, filters, sorting, and page number are stored in the URL, so they are retained after a reload or when you use the browser Back and Forward buttons. Safe Search hides offers classified as 18+ by default. If adult access is enabled, switching Safe Search off requires an 18+ self-declaration; this is not an age or identity check. If adult access is disabled, Safe Search remains on and cannot be turned off. Invalid URL values are corrected automatically. If no results are found, remove a filter or broaden your query.

How do categories and brands work?

Categories and brands let you browse matching offers. Their URL identifiers are the same in every language; only the visible labels are translated. An unknown or empty category or brand URL may show a not-found message or no results. Category alone does not make an unrelated offer match the text you searched for.

What is the difference between a product and an offer?

A product page brings together the product information held by CenuFiltrs and the currently visible offers from retailers. Search results are based on individual offers, so each search card represents a listing from a specific retailer. The same product may have several offers at different prices, or no visible offer at the moment. If a product or listing is unavailable, return to search and choose another matching offer.

What do Deals, Trending, and New Arrivals show?

Deals lists offers that include discount information and supports the available filters. Trending shows popular search terms and a selection of products, but CenuFiltrs does not guarantee a particular popularity-ranking method. New arrivals shows the newest offers first without promising a fixed 7-, 14-, or 30-day window. If a section is empty, there is currently no qualifying public data to show.

Does CenuFiltrs sell products directly?

No. CenuFiltrs compares offers and sends you to the selected retailer through a tracked link. The retailer is responsible for checkout, payment, delivery, returns, warranty, and the final terms of sale. If an offer is no longer available after you open it, return to CenuFiltrs and choose another visible offer.

Products, offers, prices, and retailers

How prices, availability, price history, retailer information, and advertising work.

Are prices and availability up to date?

Offers come from retailer product feeds and are refreshed according to each feed's processing schedule. A retailer may change a price or stock level before the next successful update reaches CenuFiltrs. Before buying, always confirm the final price, availability, delivery cost, payment methods, returns, and seller terms on the retailer's website. If the information differs, rely on the retailer's current details for the purchase and contact us if CenuFiltrs continues to show incorrect information.

What does price history show?

A product page may show previously recorded prices for that product, with a separate price-history page where available. Price history covers that product only and does not predict future prices. New products, or periods for which no valid price observations are available, may have little or no history to display.

What information is available about a retailer?

The retailer directory and individual retailer pages show available public information, retailer ratings, published reviews, and visible offers. A retailer that is unknown or not public may show a not-found message. Delivery and payment panels are currently hidden, so check those terms directly on the retailer's website.

Where do the offers come from?

Offers come from participating Latvian online retailers, mainly through their product data feeds. CenuFiltrs groups and displays those listings; it does not buy, manufacture, stock, or fulfil the products.

Is CenuFiltrs free for shoppers?

Searching, browsing, and comparing offers are free for shoppers and do not require an account. CenuFiltrs is also completely free for merchants during Beta, while valid clicks and advertising are accounted for against a balance funded by the CenuFiltrs team. Merchants do not pay or top up that balance themselves. CenuFiltrs will give advance notice before any paid-service terms apply. Clicking an offer never creates a shopper fee or makes CenuFiltrs the seller.

How are paid placements identified?

Paid placements are marked with the “Sponsored” label. This indicates paid visibility; it does not change the retailer's product information or make CenuFiltrs the seller. Organic search information still comes from the offer data. See How ranking works for more details.

Accounts, profile, trust, and support

When you need to sign in, which personal features are available, and where to get help or exercise your data rights.

Do I need an account to compare prices?

No. Search, categories, product pages, and retailer pages are available without an account. Sign-in is required for personal collections and actions such as submitting a retailer review, opening a support ticket, or reporting listing content.

How do I register and verify my email?

Open Sign in or register, complete the registration form, and use the verification link sent to your email address. Registration signs you in immediately. An unverified email does not block normal browsing or the whole account, but actions that specifically require verification—such as submitting a retailer review—remain unavailable. If the verification email does not arrive, request another one from your profile and check that the address is correct, including your spam folder.

What if I cannot sign in or my session expires?

If you have forgotten your password, use password recovery. If a protected page sends you back to sign-in, your session could not be restored; sign in again and continue using the return link provided. Logging out ends the current browser session. Changing your password does not currently guarantee that every other active session will be signed out.

Can I sign in with a social account?

Social sign-in is available only when the relevant service is enabled on the site. The sign-in page shows the providers that are currently available, so a specific provider may not always be offered. If no social sign-in option appears or the external sign-in flow is cancelled, use email sign-in or password recovery instead.

What can I change in my profile?

In Profile, you can update the supported personal details, change or remove your avatar, and change your password. Saved account details remain after you reload the page. The activity area is a summary of recent account activity, not a complete audit of every action. If a change cannot be saved, correct any validation error and try again after signing in again if your session has expired.

How does the wishlist work?

The wishlist lets signed-in users save and remove supported products, and those saved items are stored with the account. Wishlist filtering, automatic price alerts, and public sharing are not yet complete features and should not be relied on. If an item disappears, the product or its public offers may no longer be available.

What are recently opened offers?

Recently opened offers are created from tracked outbound offer clicks, not from merely viewing a product page. You can reopen an available offer, remove an entry, or clear the list. Clearing detaches the personal link while aggregate click analytics may remain anonymised.

How does search history work, and can I turn it off?

Search history lets signed-in users view and delete searches linked to their account. The tracking preference is stored in the browser. Turning it off prevents new searches from that browser being added to your personal history, but it does not disable anonymous, aggregated search analytics or automatically change the setting on your other devices.

What are search tasks?

Search tasks are available only when this feature is enabled. A task can check saved criteria daily or weekly and can be paused, resumed, or deleted; full editing and renewal options are limited. Email is the supported notification method, so do not rely on push notifications or an automatically calculated price-drop percentage. If the page is unavailable, search tasks are not enabled in the current version of the site.

Which notification preferences are available?

Notification settings are available only when shopper notifications are enabled. Some basic email preferences are connected to notification delivery, while some other saved options may not yet result in a message being sent. Saving a preference therefore does not guarantee delivery. If the page is unavailable, use the other account tools that are currently shown.

How do retailer reviews work?

Published retailer reviews can be read by anyone. To submit a review, sign in with a verified email address and use the form on the retailer's page. Reviews may be moderated, and duplicates or incomplete ratings may be rejected. You can also report a published retailer review. Product comments are not currently available on the shopper site, and there is no shopper form for Community Offers.

How do I report listing content or appeal a dismissal?

Signed-in users can use Content reports to find an offer and report content that is illegal, counterfeit, unsafe, misleading, incorrect, infringes intellectual-property rights, or is problematic for another reason. If a report is rejected, it can be appealed from the same area within the displayed time limit. The decision and its reasons are shown there. There is currently no separate notification when the outcome changes, so check the page for updates.

How do support tickets work?

Signed-in users can create a support request and continue the conversation in Profile support. You can read replies and see whether there are unread messages. Closed requests cannot receive further replies. The current list shows a limited first page, and no response time is guaranteed. If your session expires, sign in again before trying to send the message again.

How can I contact CenuFiltrs without an account?

Use the public contact page for questions, problems, suggestions, or other messages. Required fields are checked before submission, and rate limits may require you to wait before trying again. For questions about a purchase, delivery, payment, return, or warranty, contact the retailer that sold the product.

How do I export my data or delete my account?

Profile settings let you export your personal data as JSON or permanently delete your account. Check the exported file before relying on it, because some additional data collections may be unavailable even when the download succeeds. Account deletion requires the exact confirmation shown in the interface and cannot be undone. Data belonging to the account is removed, while analytics that must be retained may remain only in anonymised form. See Privacy for details.

Why is a page or feature unavailable?

Some shopper features are enabled only in certain versions or configurations of the site. When a feature is unavailable, its link may be hidden or the page may show a not-found message. This applies in particular to search tasks, notification settings, and some features that are still being rolled out. It does not mean your account has been restricted; use the available alternatives or contact support.
